Maratea – Arrived in the late afternoon and had an awesome stay. Anchored just off the town. Went in for dinner and tried a local kitchen up in the hills. Amazing spada with mushrooms. The next day, got up early and climbed the mountain to the Christ. Explored the old historical mountain town on the way up. Super cute. Amazing view from the top of the Christ statue. Sailed up the coast past some amazing scenery in the afternoon. Anchored in a little cove with its own stone fort and cooked onboard. Had a little bit of a scare during the night when a storm came through, and the wind shifted direction, leaving us exposed to the wind in our anchorage. Luckily, the anchor held fast, despite the wind.
